Newsboard: the morning briefing

A finished news page from around 40 sources, four times a day. An AI sorts the items by importance, and every headline leads to the original.

In useReal software

In press offices and small newsrooms, the day usually starts the same way: police reports, city press releases, the neighboring newspapers’ websites, event calendars, announcements from associations.

By the time you know what matters today, the first hour is gone. The Newsboard does this reading before anyone is in the office.

For the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region, it builds a finished news page from around 40 sources four times a day, at 6 a.m., 11 a.m., 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. An AI assigns each item to a section, rates its news value, translates items in other languages and detects urgent situations. It doesn’t write articles of its own; every headline leads to the original.

An example for the press office of a district administration: at 7:30 a.m., the press officer opens the Newsboard on his tablet. A daily briefing for municipalities, associations and economic development agencies

For press offices of municipalities, districts and companies as a daily briefing. For associations that monitor their industry and want to inform members about what is new. For economic development agencies that want to see calls for tenders and funding calls from ministries, chambers and development banks in one place. And as a public service for a city portal that offers its visitors an up-to-date page without employing a newsroom for it.
