Dog school with an AI trainer that answers in the evening, too
Customer area, administration and an AI trainer that answers from the dog school’s own expertise. Built for PAWCADEMY, which trains by video call and messenger all over Germany, and transferable to practices and consultancies.
A dog school depends on owners practicing between sessions.
That is when the questions come up: at ten in the evening, when the dog pulls on the leash, or on the weekend, when the exercise doesn’t work. For PAWCADEMY, my own dog school, I built a platform that answers these questions from the dog school’s expertise. The answers come from the archive of its own course and training work, not from what a language model has learned about dogs in general.
PAWCADEMY is based in Heidelberg and trains with customers all over Germany by video call and messenger, and on site on request. The platform includes complete administration: customers and dogs, training plans, appointments, invoices and a sales overview that automatically shows where each prospect stands. Everything is on its own server.

A customer asks in the evening, and the AI trainer answers from her dog’s file
An example from a customer’s day: after the second training session, she logs in to the customer area in the evening, without a password, via a link sent by email. She sees her dog, the full training plan and the homework with step-by-step instructions. She asks the AI trainer her question about the exercise. It takes her dog’s file into account and answers from the dog school’s knowledge base. She could have asked the same question via messenger or email; the conversation history is the same everywhere. If she asks about something sensitive, such as a biting incident, her trainer at the dog school also gets a message. The next morning, he sees in the overview what was asked overnight.
Customer area, AI trainer, knowledge base and administration on one platform
Customer area without a password
The customer sees her dog, plans, exercises, sessions, appointments and invoices. She pays via a link, picks appointments with one click and writes to her trainer directly.
AI trainer with the dog’s file
The AI trainer answers from the school’s own knowledge base. The dog school activates it for each customer individually, with a fixed number of questions per month. If desired, a trainer reviews each answer before it goes out.
Messenger coaching with video analysis
For four weeks, the customer sends up to four short videos of her dog via messenger. The trainer replies Monday to Friday within 48 hours by text or voice message. Afterwards, the videos and his analysis are in the customer area.
The dog school’s knowledge base
Around 600 exercises and just over 4,000 sections of expert knowledge, searchable by meaning: the search finds matching passages even when they use different words than the question. 20 principles apply to every answer. New material is first created as a draft and only becomes visible after approval.
Training plan from the conversation
The intake, the initial conversation about the dog and its history, becomes a plan with units, alternatives and a recommendation, plus step-by-step instructions for the owner.
Preparation for every session
For each training session, the AI writes the trainer an outline with minutes, materials and homework. For a 50-minute session, this takes less than two minutes.
Administration in one place
Customer and dog files with a timeline, a sales overview from the first contact to looking after long-standing customers, campaigns with QR codes, invoices, payment reminders and incoming payments matched to the right invoice.
Community
Every customer gets a tip of the day. There are also notices with registration, an info board and a gallery in which a photo only appears once the owner and the dog school have agreed.
For businesses that support people over a longer period
What is built here for a dog school fits businesses that support people over a longer period and answer questions between appointments. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy with exercises for home. Tutoring, music schools and coaching with homework and progress. Nutrition counseling with plans. Trade businesses whose customers should find quote, appointment, invoice and care instructions in one place. In every case, your own expertise becomes searchable, and the AI trainer answers in your house style.
Appointments come from the booking system, texts from the AI newsroom
The customer books appointments and the messenger coaching through the booking system. The AI newsroom writes texts for the blog and social media from the same knowledge base, and every expert statement in them is checked against reputable sources on the web. Recordings of the initial conversation that produce a suggestion for the intake would be conceivable, as would the trainer’s voice notes landing as notes in the dog’s file.
